Nurturing dreams under Pratham

Students residing in the district, who have scored 75 per cent and above in SSLC examination conducted during April 2011 with annual family income below ` 50,000 are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The identification of deserving students will be made by the authorised volunteers of Pratham by visiting the dwelling units of students to assess the financial need to ensure that only the deserving are supported and identification is not on the basis of mere documents. Application forms are available at office of Pratham Mysore,  Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore-12. Filled in application should reach Pratham on or before May 31. Call 241 2612 for details.

Free computer training

GIIT, Ramavilas Road, Mysore is offering free computer training through Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation Limited in association with NIIT MES training. The courses offered are certificate course in computer applications and hardware and networking.
