<p>Addressing a media conference here on Saturday, Vedike President G Prakash said that Dada Saheb Phalke awardee V K Murthy will be presented with the ‘Ramakrishna Hegde Art Award’ on the occasion. <br /><br />Along with ‘Dr Raj Geethanamana’, experts from various fields will be felicitated on the occasion, he added. <br /><br />Padmabhushana Dr B Sarojadevi will inaugurate the programme, while Karnataka JD(U) President Dr M P Nadagowdar will preside and former speaker Rameshkumar will present the award to Murthy.<br /><br />Pratima Academy former president V N Subbarao, MLA Sandesh Nagaraj, film producer Nandakumar Naidu, former Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Prof N Girigowda are expected to participate in the programme.<br /><br />Litterateur Dr C P Krishnakumar will participate in a seminar based on the topic ‘In and around Dr Raj’ at 2.30 pm. <br /><br />M Ramegowda and journalist Kadenahalli Veerannagowda will deliver a discourse about ‘Dr Raj mathu Gokak Chaluvali’, ‘Dr Raj Apaharana mathu S M Krishna Chinthane’ respectively.<br /></p>
