Regarding Dr Rakesh Sera’s claim, the College clarified the charges were baseless. “We neither select any candidate nor collect any tuition fees from any candidate selected through CET and COMED-K during the admission. They are selected through centralised counselling in Bangalore,” the release stated. “This year, the permitted intake under COMED-K was only two Christian candidates but there were three candidates for the two seats. We have admitted the two candidates who reported first,” the release stated.
