Delhi police, on the trail of an engineering student for sending an ‘objectionable’ MMS from a website to the cell phone of President of India Pratibha Patil, landed in the City and seized all the computers of a cyber cafe and sealed it on Wednesday.

The IP address of the email id was traced to a cyber cafe in Chamaraja Mohalla here. All the 10 computers in the cyber cafe were seized.

A student of engineering currently studying at a private college in Bangalore had sent an MMS recently, through a website which allows its users to send SMS and MMSes to cellphones across the world for free or at minimal cost.

According to the police, the MMS was traced with its email id and IP address. Sources said the boy’s father was quizzed at Vijayanagar station for few hours since the boy is away in Bangalore.

The father apparently claimed innocence and said his son’s email id was misused by anti-social elements to land him in trouble.
