During his visit to the park which was a rather malodorous place, filled with filth and dirt delivering low quality jaggery -- which seemed to resemble thick dense liquid than the square moulds as it is sold in the market - Ashwathanarayana said a cordial atmosphere needs to be created here.
“Before setting out on making any changes in this place, we need to mend the minds at work here. It is time we took this seriously,” he suggested to Director of Zonal Agricultural Research Centre Pandurangegowda.
Lack of understanding
There is lack of understanding between staffers of Zonal Agricultural Research Centre and also the staffers who work under them.
“However, all this gap in communication is costing dear to the ambitious project,” he said.
Attributing the lack of understanding as the failure of officers to check the problem at the very beginning, Ashwathanarayana said if the problems are technical, there is a solution to it. But, if they turn personal, it has to be sorted out by the officers concerned.
Meeting
He also directed the officials of City Municipality to call for a meeting to discuss and find solutions to problems that have cropped up along Railway overbridge on Holalu circle and underground drainage near factory circle etc.
Municipality President Arunkumar accompanied the officer on the occasion.
