J&K students in City

They visited the NCC headquarters of Karnataka and Kerala Sub-Area.  The excursion, organised by the “1 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion” of the Indian Army, is a part of continued efforts to integrate students from Jammu and Kashmir with other parts of the country.

The 35-member group, comprising 15 girls, is accompanied by their teachers and belong to schools in Kulgam and Anantnag.  As part of the excursion, the students visited the Headquarters of Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area.

“The aim of the tour is to broaden the horizons of the young children by showcasing the many facets of South India,”the release said.
