Jagadish was booked by the Lokayukta police under sections 13 (1) (c), 13 (1) (d) and 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Sections 465 (forgery), 420 (cheating) of the IPC. The matter has been adjourned to Monday.

Hearing adjourned

The High Court again adjourned the final hearing in the case challenging the order of the Lokayukta Special Court to investigate land scam charges against Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.

Justice K N Keshavanarayana on Friday put off the matter for final hearing to Monday.
Yeddyurappa’s son-in-law Sohan Kumar had moved a writ petition contesting the Lokayukta Special Court order, which allowed for probe into the allegations of land scam against the Chief Minister and his family.
