Webber's victory on July 12 was the first by an Australian in an F1 race since 1981, when Alan Jones won at Las Vegas. It was Webber's first win in 132 GPs.

Jack Brabham, who won three world titles and 14 GPs between 1955 and 1970, is the only other Australian to have won a Formula One race.

The three images on the domestic-mail 55-cent stamp released today shows Webber on the podium, another in his racing car on the grid and a third close-up with his racing helmet.
