JOIN USAccording to police, Atheeq Ahamed Khan (28), a resident of Siddiqinagar and Ameer (15), a resident of Bade Makan and Ibrahim (15) of EWS colony, N R Mohalla are the arrested.
The CCB team arrested Atheeq and Ameer and recovered from them Rs 4 lakh worth LCD television, home theatres, DVD and MP3 players, batteries and other electronic goods.
While, similar electronic goods worth Rs 40,000 was seized from Ibrahim.
Theft in house
The group was involved in theft at a house in N R Mohalla on May 30 from where they looted TV, home theatre system and DVD.
N R Police have registered a case against the trio and have sent the minor boys to juvenile home, a release said.
One held
A CCB team has arrested a youth, Nanjundi (22) who has confessed to making an attempt to rob an ATM in Hootagalli. A press release said he was rounded up while a CCB team found him moving around suspiciously.
During interrogation, the accused is reported to have disclosed that he and his associates Raghu, Cheluvaraj and Chethan made a futile bid to rob a State Bank of Mysore ATM in KHB colony in Hootagalli on the night of July 6, 2007. Police is on the lookout for the other three accused. Vijayanagar police have registered a case.
