BJP cooks against price rise

Some among the protesters who donned the role of cooks boiled water on a makeshift hearth recreated with bricks, using firewood at Gandhi Square,  meaning that the days are not far for the people to turn into traditional method of cooking, when the prices of LPG cylinders, besides food grains are increasing.

They raised slogans against the centre for failing to arrest the hike in the prices, that has been making a deep hole in the pocket of common man.

If the UPA led central government remains oblivion to the people’s woes, BJP will be forced to take out intensified protests, the protesters warned.

Leader of the Opposition in MCC and Corporator A B Vidya Urs, BJP Mahila Morcha president Reena Prakash, Corporator Mahadevamma and others participated in the protest.
