Police foil bid to rob houses, nab 3

 The arrested are Anwar (24), Shabber (22) and Musthafa (20). The trio were near a bush when the police saw them. Seeing the police, they started running. Police chased them and arrested. When the police searched their bike, it had iron rods in a black bag.
During the interrogation, they revealed that they had made plans for robbing houses.

Anwar had stolen the Pulser bike from Bangalore and was using for stealing. Anwar and Shabbeer had snatched away the chain from a women at Kundapur three years ago. In fact, they were released from jail three months ago. Musthafa was involved in a robbery case in Gowripalya.

Boy drowns

A boy drowned when a boat capsized while fishing at Kodavooru in Malpe on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Nothesh (18). He along with a certain Boggu Mendon had been to fishing in traditional boat. However, the mishap occurred when the boat capsized at Padukere Kadavinabagilu. Boggu Mendon reached the shore by swimming.

Auto driver killed

An auto driver was killed when the autorickshaw he was driving turned turtle at Thrasi. The deceased has been identified as Vishnumurthy Aithal (27), a native of Jata colony. A case has been registered.
