Transfer ACPs: EC to Govt

The EC’s direction comes in the wake of a complaint lodged by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, that Kengeri ACP T D Durgaiah and Vijayanagar ACP N Hanumanthappa had been in the same jurisdiction for several years.

The EC has also sought a list of the candidates that the government proposes to appoint in their positions, sources said.
