As the name suggests, it has a menu that comprises every type of Punjabi cuisine imaginable. Coupled with this extensive menu, the prices are very reasonable making it even more popular among the people.

This place was started three years ago by Rahul Dham, whose family has been in the restaurant business for many years. He says, “This motivated me to start this place in Indiranagar. Moreover, since we are North-Indians, I didn’t have to think twice before starting this place.”

This small place with its simple decor, looks like a perfect college hangout but is also a great place where you can have a delicious family meal. From soups and appetisers to a main course meal, the variety is big. Their array of barbeque chicken items can spoil you for choice.

Among these, the Afghani Chicken, which is grilled chicken marinated in yoghurt and spices, is  a must try. This apart, you can have Chicken Chaat and other varieties of kebab like Haryali Tikka or Lasooni Tikka for starters. Among the vegetarian dishes, there are paneer items available like Paneer Tikka or Paneer Achari and other starters like Tomato Dhania Shorba, Veg Seekh Kebab and Aloo Bharwan.

If you are looking for a main course meal, you can order any of the rice items which include ‘Jeera Rice’, ‘Peas Pulao’, Masala Rice and Biryani which is the most favourite.

Apart from this, one should try the soft stuffed and plain parathas and naans you get here. Unlike the usual naans you get at most places, these are crisp and come in varieties like Butter Naan, Garlic Naan and others.

You can combine this with a plate of Methi Malai Chicken or Kadai Chicken. The vegetarians can opt for the vegetable curries like Kadai Veg, Aloo Gobi Masala, Methi Malai Paneer among others. Like any other Punjabi cuisine, all the dishes are skillfully blended and cooked with herbs, spices and other ingredients to produce a rich taste and smooth texture.

No meal can be complete without a serving of desserts. Some of the sweet items available for the customers are Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Rasgulla and Kheer. But this cannot be complete without the traditional Punjabi speciality which is a glass of Punjabi Lassi in both salt and sweet varieties.

Says Anoop, who relocated from Delhi just recently, “This is honestly the best place where I have tasted good Punjabi food after coming to Bangalore.” All in all, this place gives you nice value for money and a good dining experience.
