S India offers lots to invest, says US

Briefing reporters,  he said, India, on the whole, was lso a huge market, whose unique model offered immense interest to US firm.

While Japan, Korea, and China have a systematic formula, India, however, is quite flexible, which is conducive for exploring business opportunities, he observed.

India, he opined, had unlimited potential to register good economic growth compared to other Asian countries, given the current its robust two-way trade it enjoys with the US. In this regard, he said, the current downgrade in the US has forced domestic companies to explore new markets and partnerships in countries like India.

“The downgrade has driven a lot of interest for our companies to seek opportunities elsewhere and India is a natural location for investments and doing business," he said.

Though the US economy was fragile,  the fundamentals were strong and innovations in IT sector in India and the US would drive both countries growth index, he added.
