The event, which was held at CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT), Whitefield, saw 15 colleges battling it out on the ramp to secure their positions in the finals.

All the ingredients of a perfect evening - glitzy outfits, tantalising catwalks and oodles of attitude came together to put up a show that will be hard to forget.

The glamour quotient of the evening was pushed up a notch by the panel of celebrity judges, which included Zoheb Yusuf, well-known model, actors Ramya Bharna and Meghna Gaonkar and the talented designer Paresh Lamba.

Each team showcased a variety of dazzling ethnic and western outfits, impressing the judges and audience alike with their styling, choreography and music.  ALT Training College emerged the winners with their collection titled 'Nava Rasa', which portrayed the range of human emotions.

The outfits made ample use of rich colours and textures, as well as elaborate props like swords and a pair of butterfly wings. Baldwin Methodist College, the first runners-up, chose to style themselves as warriors of ancient Indian lore, surrounding a flute-wielding Krishna.

They were dressed in colourful silk dhotis and innovative chest armour, as well as using plenty of metallic body paint. The third college that was selected for a spot in the finals was Indian Academy, which went for an Ancient Greek theme, with silken togas draped in a variety of ways. They spiced up their creations with wreaths of leaves and orchids, jewelled sandals and strappy heels.
