Kumaraswamy and his wife were unable to obtain any relief in the High Court for their anticipatory bail plea and will have to appear in the Special Lokayukta Court. They had failed to appear in the Court on two earlier occasions on grounds of poor health.

The court had, however, specified that the couple will have to appear in the court on Wednesday.

Yeddyurappa, who had appeared in the court on August 29, is expected to be present with regard to the private complaints filed by advocate Sirajin Basha. Yeddyurappa’s counsel has filed a bail application in the two complaints, which name him as the accused.

Judge N K Sudhindra Rao is expected to issue an order on whether the Special Public Prosecutor should argue the case on behalf of the complainant in the private complaints.
