The Lokayukta has given four weeks for them to respond to a complaint in which they have been accused of forging the signature of an industrialist to grab 26 acres of land in Devanahalli. The case pertains to the sudden cancellation of 26 acres allotted for a Rs 600-crore project during the last edition of the Global Investors’ Meet.
The complainant Alam Pasha had brought the matter before the Lokayukta and alleged that the ministers had written a letter to the government forging his signature stating that his company was no longer interested in implementing the project. Following this, a high-level committee had cancelled the project.
