<p>Speaking at a tri monthly review meeting here at Corporation Bank hall, he said Kissan credit cards should be given to those farmers who had not availed crop loan from the banks so far. Credit card should be issued to such farmers with the help of the agriculture department in association with the nationalised and private banks. <br /><br />He said the the State and the Central government have chalked out several programmes for the progress of the farmers. The programmes should reach the farmers through banks. <br />Lead Bank Manager Arunachala Sharma said crop loan application forms are simplified and is in Kannada for the benefit of the farmers. The application forms have reached all the banks. <br />“No fee should be collected from farmers while availing crop loan. There is no need for no due certificate from other banks. The copy of RTC is essential for the crop loan,” he added. <br />As many as 26,647.25 lakh loan has been disbursed to the agriculture sector since April. <br />Corporation Bank Mysore zone Deputy General Manager Lakshminath Reddy, Zilla Panchayat CEO N Krishnappa, RBI representative G H Rao, NABARD district Manager Shivaram Krishnan were present. <br /></p>
