Hailing Modi’s effort, DV Sadanand Gowda said that he and his government were also working on Modi’s development model and they intend to replicate some of these models in the state as well.
Speaking to Deccan Herald Gowda said, “Karnataka too has a population which comprises 15 per cent minority and they have been the victims of divisive politics of the previous regimes of Congress and JD (S). So this kind of mission would only enable everybody to be under the same umbrella and not be classified as majority and minority.”
Speaking about the Lokayukta in his state and that of Gujarat, he said, “In our state they have received a lot of cooperation from the administration and we hope that they would continue to do the same as for Gujarat it was up to this government to decide on what was best suited for their administration.”
Senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar accompanied Gowda and shared the dias with Modi on the second day of his fast.
