JOIN USGowda demonstrated his proficiency in the language winning the hearts of the Malayalee community. “I have very close affiliation with the state and its people. I hail from a place very close to the Kerala border. This community shall get full support in all its endeavour from me.”
Between 9 am and 10 am, the CM attended two such functions, the second one at R T Nagar was organised by another Malayalee Samaj. Ponnonam is an annual function organised by the North West Samajam at the Ayyappa Temple in Jalahalli, to commemorate Onam. Although the function comes weeks after Onam, it is not with any less fervour that the committee organises the cultural programme.
Renowned dancer and artiste, Rajashree Warrior performed at the function later in the evening.
