'Suspension revoked to protect researchers'

In a statement issued to the media on Wednesday, the registrar has stated that the university syndicate, which met on October 15 decided to revoke suspension and appoint Shivabasavaiah as in-charge of printing division of Prasaranga, temporarily, for the following reasons: the varsity has to send valid reasons to the governor, also chancellor of the varsity, if it decides to continue with the suspension of the professor according to classification, control and appeal, section 7(8), HC stay on the departmental inquiry and most importantly the travails being faced by other research students.

As Shivabasavaiah stays away from his duties, he had been unable to meet the procedure pertaining to continuing of funding, attendance among others.
