Heavy to moderate rain was recorded at many places in Uttar Pradesh, as a result of which there was decline in average temperature by four-five degrees, Met office said.
In Delhi, incessant showers kept temperatures down with the maximum settling at 30.5 degrees. Light showers were recorded at some places in Punjab and Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
