This collection is available only at Belle Coutur” a boutique that combines exclusive high-end designs with an eclectic modern mix of fashion elements, located at Nehru Nagar, Kumarapark, Bangalore. Exclusive bridal jewellery to match the various garments is available too. The collection also includes imported fabrics such as lycra, velvets, georgettes and chiffons in new prints and colours. For a wedding, salwar suits and saris are available specially in single pieces, single styles and colours according to one’s preference for that exclusive look.

Speaking about his designs, designer Sooraj Chwla states, “The highlights of my designs are the beautiful colour combinations and the rich silhouettes with a mix and match of unique prints and different embellishments. I aim to enhance the western cuts while keeping the Indian sensibilities intact.”

Sooraj Chwla started his designing career way back in his college days when he used to display his collection at private exhibitions under his label “Sooraj Chwla”. Soon, he started selling his collection to big stores and other retail outlets. His collections are trendy, contemporary, with an essence of simplicity.

He then set up a studio/ workshop at Okalipuram in the year 2001. Having worked in the wedding sector for some time now, Sooraj counsels brides and grooms on their personal choices and also designs outfits for various wedding occasions.

The store Belle Couture was started in October 2008, with an idea to attract clientele to a place where they can fulfill their needs under one roof. Creating a platform for new budding designers, the store also stocks garments by designers from all over the country.  The clothes are all well thought out, planned and each piece is chosen by Sooraj himself, so that the client who walks into the store can choose the best.
