Husband beats wife to death

They were the residents of Ambedkarnagar in the town.

It is learnt that the couple frequently quarrelled.

On Tuesday, in a fit of rage, Nagaraj hit his wife with a wooden plank and she died on the spot due to severe bleeding. Sub-inspector J N Anand Kumar said Nagaraj was recently released from jail on a bail. He also visited the spot.

A complaint has been lodged in this regard.  The town police are investigating the case.
