The announcement came after Jagan had stated that his group will not support National Democratic Alliance in the Centre after 2014 general election.

“The TDP will introduce a no-confidence motion in the ensuing winter session of the state Assembly,” Naidu told party workers during a rally against corruption in Visakhapatnam on Friday.

Naidu attacked Jagan saying the latter “resorted” to illegalities and corruption to amass wealth.

“This was clear from the letter written by YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s wife Vijayamma to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,” Naidu said.

Rejecting the allegations of corruption levelled against him by the YSR Congress and the Sakshi daily, Naidu challenged them to prove the allegations.

“If the Sakshi daily and the YSR congress party prove the allegations that the Singapore hotels and the Jayabheri properties are mine, I will hand over the properties to them only,” he told the media.

Meanwhile, Adinarayana Reddy, a pro-Jagan MLA who quit the Congress to join the YSR Congress, made it clear that they would not vote against the government in the event of a no-confidence motion.  “Let Chandrababu Naidu introduce the no-confidence motion. We are not going to support it. We will not vote against the government,” he said.

Reflecting a sudden change of heart, Jagan supporter said his group would concentrate on welfare and developmental programmes in their constituencies if the Speaker rejects their resignations.  “There is no chance of the government falling and because of this we have decided to concentrate on developmental works in our constituencies,” he said.
When asked if they have abandoned Jagan, he said they would stand by Jagan in case he has any problems.

He said the Congress leadership in the state is also pressuring them to support the government and they have accepted it. “We will support the government but wherever necessary we will criticise it also,” he said.
