Most awaited fest

'Legala'

The fest is popular with the student community across the country and is expected to draw more than  50 colleges and attract over 50,000 odd students.

The ‘Strawberry Fields’  on November 27 attracts the maximum number of people.
The fest has an array of events that not only help students explore their creativity and talent but test their skills.

Among the various events are lemon and spoon race, wheel barrow race, sack race, three-legged race, sponge throwing, quizzes, paper dancing and just about any fun game that you can imagine, as well as specialised theme events.

Other items include the Page 3 event, ‘RampArt’, a fashion show which traditionally kickstarts ‘LeGala’ and ‘Strawberry Fields’. ‘RampArt’ is schedule on November 26 and is an ideal platform for young models, whether or not in a fashion college, to show the world they have what it takes to make hearts leap.

Apart from prizes for the best male and female model of the year, the winning
team is awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Strawberry Fields on November 27 is India's largest music competition for college and semi-professional bands.

This is the 15th edition of the show. Band ‘Rudra’ will be headlining the music fest .
Rudra is a quartet of musicians hailing from Singapore, that has pioneered and perfected the concept of fusing extreme metal riffs along with vedic hymns.

Formed in 1992, the band has created waves since 1998 internationally, with their unique sound and relentless pursuit of making original music that transcends boundaries. This will be followed by ‘Bevar Sea’ and the ‘Captains of Hook’. There will be fifty bands performing at this year’s fest. Entry is free.
