Cracking down on unauthorised constructions in the city, the building department of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) continued its demolition drive by razing 47 illegal properties in Sadar, Paharganj, Rohini, Najafgarh and Civil Lines Zones of the national capital.
The MCD’s Building Department in the respective zones carried out the demolition act with the help of local police. According to MCD officials, illegal constructions at three properties were demolished in Civil Lines zone, and 15 properties were razed in Rohini.
The demolitions were carried out at 21 properties in Sadar Paharganj area while eight properties were sealed and demolished in Najafgarh zone.
