Auto Expo tickets at Metro stations

Tickets for the ongoing Auto Expo 2012, which opens for general public from January 7, will be available at 26 Metro stations, including junctions and terminal stations of all lines. The tickets will be sold from the Customer Care Centres of these stations.

“The tickets would be available at Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Kashmere Gate, Inderlok, Rohini West and Rithala on Line 1. On Line 2, the tickets would be available at Jahangirpuri, Vishwavidyalaya, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat and HUDA City Centre stations. Similarly, on Line 3 and 4, tickets could be bought at Vaishali, Anand Vihar, Noida City Centre, Pragati Maidan, Barakahamba, Karol Bagh, Rajori Garden, Janakpuri West, Moti Nagar, Uttam Nagar East and Dwarka Sec-9 stations,” a Metro spokesperson said. Auto Expo tickets could also be bought from Mundka on Line 5 and Badarpur, Govindpuri and Lajpat nagar stations on Line 6.

On January 7-8, tickets would be sold from 9 am to 4 pm, whereas on the next three days, tickets would be available from 12 noon to 5 pm only. The cost of the tickets for general public on weekend (January 7 and 8) will be Rs 200 and on weekdays (January 9, 10, 11), the tickets will cost Rs 500 for business hours and Rs 150 for general hours.

The Metro spokesperson further informed that business hour tickets would be available only form Pragati Maidan Metro station and only current day tickets can be bought from these stations and no advance tickets will be available.
