<p> <br />Speaking at the inauguration of a national-level seminar on ‘Advance Applications in Engineering Physics and Technology’ organised by the Physics department of SJC Technological University in Chikkaballapur on Thursday, he said: “Scientists need to understand that the laws of Physics and the laws of nature are complementary to each other.”<br /><br />Head of the Physics department, National Institute of Technology, Suratkal, Dr G Umesh, who was also present at the seminar, remarked that the professors of Physics would benefit from making good use of the increasing reach of Physics.<br /><br />Prof T Srinivasan from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; Dr Thomas and Abilasha from Optical Fiber Technology; Dr T Munikenche Gowda, prinicpal of SJC Technological University delivered talks at the seminar.<br /><br />K N Nagaraj, Dr K M Rajashekar and Srinivas from the Physics department were also present.<br /></p>
