Portal on sugar

The directorate of sugar and cane development has launched a website www.sugars.kar.nic.in.

The portal provides information on government sugar factories, their location, sugar production in factories, status of application submitted for setting up new sugar factories and related information.

The website will also provide information useful for sugar cane growers, according to a press release.
