Narayan Murthy's daughter ties knot

The 29-year-old Akshata, a venture capitalist in Cleantech Space in California, got married to Rishi Sumak, an Indian based in the US, as per their traditional customs.
The marriage was attended by close friends and relatives of the Murthys who are known to respect their privacy.
The guests, who attended the wedding, were treated to a gastronomic fare of south Indian delicacies, the task of which had been entrusted to a well-known caterer in the city.

The no-frills wedding is going to be followed by a reception at the Leela Palace Hotel tomorrow which is expected to be attended by around 1,000 guests.
Sudha Murthy finalised the menu, which had the traditional Mysorean flavour, besides dishes from North Karnataka, from where she hails. Narayana Murthy hails from South Karnataka.
