Whitney Houston's family has sold footage of her star-studded funeral to media outlets across the world to raise funds for the tragic singer's daughter.

The soul superstar was remembered during a private four-hour ceremony at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey on February 18.

A live feed of the service was provided to TV and media networks but all footage had to be pulled from websites.

The spokesperson said that the executors have agreed to license footage to several media outlets for customary fees, reported TMZ online.

The charges will go to "help maximise the estate for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina", Houston's 18-year-old daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Houston died on February 11. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
