BJP trashes Dikshit's report card

With the MCD elections drawing closer, the principal opposition BJP has trashed the list of achievements counted by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit during her 13-year rule in the city state. Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijay Kumar Malhotra termed them as a 'bundle of lies'.

“The anti-people and the diabolic face of Delhi government cannot be covered under the garb of crore of rupees worth of advertisements and by organising extravaganzas and propaganda,” said Malhotra in a statement.

Sheila Dikhsit completed 13 years in office as Delhi CM in December and presented the report card of her government on Tuesday.

 The BJP leader said that criminal charges must be framed against the Chief Minister and her cabinet colleagues for presenting such a false and fraudulent report.

“The Lokayukta has already passed strictures against the Delhi government and the Chief Minister for presenting fictitious statistics and for irregularities. Cases must be filed accordingly,” Malhotra said. Malhotra said the government has imposed an additional burden of Rs 30, 000 crore on poor and middle class people.
