To enable people to lodge their complaints through a phone call, Bangalore Rural Zilla Panchayat launched Janmitra Information Centre.
Complaints related to rural development and panchayat raj, health, education, women and child development, social welfare, housing, animal welfare, agriculture and horticulture can be registered through the helpline (080 22262555).
Complaints related to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) can also be registered. Janmitra centres will be opened across the State.
