Battling BET edge Lady Wellington

In a low-scoring match, Chetan’s splendid seven-wicket haul was put to shade by Karthik’s six-wicket burst as BET Convent successfully defended their modest 106, scoring a 25-run win over Lady Wellington High School in the First Phase (knockout) of the Boost inter-school (under-16) cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Chetan returned figures of seven for 33 as BET were bowled out for 106 in 22 overs.  Lady Wellington were dismissed for 81 in 17.4 overs. Karthik, who bagged six for 28, was well supported by Rajashekar (3/35).
