DC directs officers to solve problems on spot

He was speaking at the Janaspandana programme, organised in Angarekhanahalli village of Chikkaballapur taluk, recently.
The deputy commissioner said, instead of making the rural people rush to towns or cities in search of employment, efforts should be made to involve them in productive activities at their respective places, so that most of their problems are solved there itself. Providing employment to rural people at thier villages goes in a long way in increasing their financial stability, he opined.

He said that addressing the problems of the rural poor on the spot would also meet the objectives of Janaspandana programme.
Speaking at the programme, Tahsildar L C Nagaraj explained that the Janaspandana programme had received as many as 50 grievances and all of them were addressed and solved on the spot.

Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat N Krishnappa, Assistant Commissioner G V Seenappa, former president of the Taluk Panchayat N Subbarayappa, President of the Gram Panchayat Hanumakka, Vice-President of the Gram Panchayat Seetha Reddy, and officials of the various departments at the taluk levels were present on the occasion.
