A leopard sauntered into a school in a Mumbai suburb this morning, leaving the authorities and forest officials in a tizzy.

The leopard strayed into the NES international school in Mulund, apparently from the adjacent Sanjay Gandhi National Park, forest department sources said. Efforts are on to tranquilise the leopard, which had moved to the school basement, they added.
A school watchman saw the leopard in the school premises at around 8 am and informed the headmaster.

Forest officials were called in the school, which is located in Yogi hills and Saiprasth area.
