To mark the World No Tobacco Day, a public dental awareness programme will be organised by the Indian Dental Association, Dakshina Kannada branch in association with the A J Institute of Dental Sciences, at Police Commissioner’s office, on June 5 at 10.30 am.
Mangalore City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh will inaugurate the camp.
Dental education talks on the ill effects of tobacco and a talk on tobacco cessation will be delivered by Dr Roshan Shetty and by Dr Pooja.
A dental check-up will be conducted at the Commissioner’s office premises for the benefit of the police personnel in a mobile dental clinic, informed a press release.
