The website of the authority sporting all anew for the benefit of the public, especially those tech savvy is likely to be launched in a fortnight. <br /><br />Commissioner of Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), C G Betsurmath told Deccan Herald, the trial version has gone live. <br /><br />What’s new is-e procurement to invite expression of interest online.<br /><br />Unlike previous website- www.mysoremuda.org, the coming web portal-mysoremuda.gov.in has citizen charter, Right to Information (RTI) Act related informations, history of MUDA, from the earlier City Improvement Trust Board (CITB) from 1903 to 2012, picture gallery which gives a peek into the bungalows in Saraswatipuram, model houses in Ashokapuram among many other localities that had features of its own. <br /><br />What makes the job easy for the interested user is- reaching the authorities both on phone and also email in a jiffy. It doesn’t mean that the previous website was bereft of these facilities. <br /><br />The telephone number earlier made available in the website was a common number. <br />Now, apart from giving the extension number of the departments concerned, email IDs of chairman, commissioner, secretary and also zonal level officers will be made available.<br /><br />A power point presentation on tracing the history of MUDA, besides making the website easily accessible in Kannada too are the other prominent features.<br />In all a comprehensive website of the authority complete with updates will be available at the click of the mouse.</p>
