Milk storage unit in C'ballapur

 He was speaking at a meeting of the milk union co-operative societies’ directors and secretaries here recently. Quality of milk supplied from the Chikkaballapur district is good, he commended.

MLA K P Bachegowda said that the district administration has not heeded to the demand for land to construct a milk processing unit in the taluk. He called upon the milk union members to fight for sanctioning of land for the unit.

Kolar-Chikkaballapur Milk Producers’ Federation Director K V Nagaraj, who presided over the programme, warned that if the land for the unit is not sanctioned within the next 15 days, an intense agitation will be taken out in front of the deputy commissioner’s office.
