<p>Raichur City Municipal Council Commissioner, Devaraj, 47, was killed on the spot when the car in which he was travelling turned turtle at a turning on Huliyar Road near Gokul Nagar Monday morning.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The incident occurred when the driver - Ramesh Katti, 35 - lost control of the vehicle. The commissioner was on his way back to Raichur after a vacation in Mysore, where he hails from. The driver and Gangadhar (29), the commissioner’s personal secretary, were injured in the accident. The Rural police have registered a case.</p>
