Kya super kool hain hum
Hindi (A)
Cast: Tusshar Kapoor,
Riteish Deshmukh, Sarah Jane Dias, Neha Sharma
Director: Sachin Yardi

Tusshar Kapoor is an aspiring actor who sells fairness cream and piles pills on the tele-brands show. Riteish Deshmukh is a DJ who spins tracks as bad as his one-liners. Both share a roof and a prolific tongue for double entendre.

But the star of the sex-show is Riteish’s pug which is busy impregnating all the bitches around, and gets paid for his round-the-clock services. The Vicky doggy Donor is the vet’s pet too, as he gifts a little bow-wow to every childless canine that visits the clinic. And he mates best to his DJ master’s music.

A dog’s life? It’s barking good.

Kya Super Kool Hain Hum is trumpeted as an adult comedy, but it feels like a stretched out SMS joke that celebrates the male reproductive organ. Occasionally, it ventures to target a certain Vidya Balan and her “dirty blouse”. There is also a reference to the “twin towers” after Sarah Jane Dias flashes more than what she is supposed to at a fashion show, after a wardrobe malfunction.

Sarah’s friend Neha Sharma puts up a lesbian act before a tailing Tusshar because she doesn’t want to rush down the aisle. So, the two women feign some gay pride in Goa, while Riteish has a hard time fighting off a touchy-feely ‘Adam&Steve’ nightclub owner.

Playing a wannabe-actor comes naturally to Tusshar as it fits his profile perfectly. Riteish does a better job though he is just required to contort his features till all the facial muscles hurt.

Kya Kool Hain Hum was a surprise hit. But there is nothing even remotely cool about the second edition. It’s an A-rated headache.
