Affidavits on church attacks

 
He said the Commission will complete one year on September 23. Of the 29 districts, inquiry has been completed in 25 districts. Hearing on 180 affidavits have been completed and 390 affidavits have been partially completed. A total of 142 affidavits have been listed and dates have been fixed for hearing. Evidences have been recorded in 10,000 pages so far. The inquiry on 281 affidavits are pending. This include 269 in Dakshina Kannada and 12 in Udupi district.

He said, “the Commission is giving priority to maintain transparency. The report will give importance to integrity rather than personal issue. The Commission has understood the feelings of the victims. We are expecting to complete the hearing by November. A meeting of DCs and SPs will be convened in December.”
