The promises of the BJP government has remained only on paper. The BJP government is filled with corruption in the last four years and has been cheating people through its promises, said KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar.

Speaking  after inaugurating Congress convention, near V Yaradakere in Kadur taluk, he said “the BJP government had promised of irrigation facility, generation of 10,000 mega watt electricity, construction of 15 lakh houses for poor, monthly honorarium for the unemployed graduates. However, it has not been fulfilled so far.

The farmers are continuing to commit suicide. We have seen three Chief Minister’s in the last four years,” he said. During S M Krishna’s reign, about 39 per cent of the budget was earmarked for irrigation and electricity. This has been reduced to 13 per cent during the BJP government. The government has been neglecting irrigation and electricity.
