<p>Unidentified persons allegedly murdered a tailor and dumped the body near a bus stop in Kamalanagar in Basaveshwarnagar police limits on Monday night. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The police have identified the dead as Manjunath, 50, a resident of Vrushabhavatinagar and a tailor by profession. He was married and had a son and a daughter.<br /><br />According to police, Manjunath did not return home from work on Monday. His son-in-law received a call from his friend informing that Manjunath’s body was lying near the bus stop.<br /><br /> The assailants had attacked him with weapons and smashed his head.<br /><br /> Police said Manjunath had no enmity with anybody and was not involved in any criminal activities. It might have been a murder for robbery.<br /></p>
