SWR prevail over KSP

Riding on good efforts from Imtiaz and Christy, South Western Railway prevailed over Karnataka State Police 25-18, 24-26, 25-23, 25-19 in the 19th Karnataka State Senior 'A' Division volleyball championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium outdoor courts on Tuesday.

Hemanth and Nagesh put on a good show for the Policemen but it was not good enough to save them the blushes.

In another match, ITI defeated SAI 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.
Ravindra, who has given ITI a thing or two to fight about in the past, was once again in his elements as he spurred the victors with team-mate Pradeep as an able ally.
