Three killed in separate accidents

Three men were killed in separate accidents in the City late Friday night.

 Ravi Kumar, 18, was killed on the spot and his brother Shashikiran, 22, sustained injuries when their bike rammed a median on the BDA Ring Road, BTM Layout 4th Stage.

The accident occurred when the brothers were returning home from their father’s poultry at BTM Layout.

They used to help their father at the shop after finishing their work at a private firm.

Police said Shashikiran was overspeeding and lost control over the two-wheeler. Mico Layout Traffic police have registered a case.

In another accident, P J Justin John, 32, of Anepalya, Neelasandra, was killed instantly when he lost control over his two-wheeler while crossing a road hump on Langford Road and crashed onto the footpath.

His head hit the compound wall on the footpath, police said. He was returning home from work when the accident took place. Ashok Nagar traffic police have registered a case.

A pedestrian was mowed down by a speeding two-wheeler near Chowdeshwari bus stand, Yeshwantpur. Mohan Kumar, the motorcyclist, has been arrested.
