Shankar is KMF MD

The State government on Friday appointed IAS officer V Shankar as the Managing Director of Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) with immediate effect. He was the chief executive officer of Belgaum Zilla Panchayat.

Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Harsh Gupta was so far holding additional charge of KMF MD. The government appointed an IAS officer as the MD, following a long-drawn tussle among various factions of the Board of directors.
