Karnataka women kick-started their campaign in the 58th Senior National ball badminton championship on a thumping note, swatting aside Madhya Pradesh 29-4, 29-5 here on Thursday.

In the men’s matches, Puducherry registered one of the biggest wins of the day, routing a listless Jammu and Kashmir 29-2, 29-0.
