'I had my heart in my mouth'

Karnataka’s CM Gautam thanked his luck after being dropped on 25 that allowed him to complete a century that hauled his side back against Maharashtra.

“Yeah I really had my heart in my mouth when I was dropped but I guess fortune favours the brave,” said Gautam, who was dropped on 25 by Maharashtra wicketkeeper Rohit Motwani,.

“The second one I hit really hard so I knew that it would be hard for him to latch on to it,’ added the 26-year-old when referring to the drop by Prayag Bhati on 112.
Binny, also received a reprieve, dropped on 21 by Harshad Khadiwale.
